OUR PROPERTY
Whelping Area
Mum has her puppies inside with us and we are always present to lend a hand. For the first 3-4 weeks puppies are handled multiple times a day and a close eye is on mum making sure she has all the care and nutrition needed at this time. Mum has free access to outside via a dog door.
Puppy Pen
Our puppy pen is a secure building with multiple day yards where mum and puppies graduate to once puppies are about 4 weeks old. There are heat lamps for the cold and fans for cooling. Each pen has a dog door where puppies can come and go at will out onto the grassy outdoor playground. Mum also has a seperate dog door where she can have “time out” from her brood when she needs it.
Kindergarten Day yard
Straight outside their dog doors there are multiple areas where puppies can roam and discover the outdoors. Under the canopy of 2 beautiful elm trees and shade sails there are toys aplenty and adventure to be had.
By allowing free access to the outside grass areas it fast tracks the toilet training so by 6 weeks the puppies are almost always toileting outside.
Avalon
Avalon is a sanctuary for humans and animals. Our family home is full of four legged friends and our property is situated in the glorious valley of Bowan Park. The soil here is rumoured to be so rich you can grow babies in it! Well we do … on it anyway 😉
